This 7 million dollar ITD contract is located on SH-3 and consists of rehabilitating existing the SH-3 pavement surface utilizing a Cement Recycled Asphalt Base Stabilization (CRABS) process. Once the CRABS was completed our crews overlayed roughly 7 miles of road with a HMA program that was all performed under traffic. The road rehab also includes the replacement of 2 bridges with one located at Evans Creek and the other at Swan Creek. A series of preloading and settlement periods followed by the formal structure replacement are all to be done under traffic at each bridge replacement location. Also included in the contract is the removal and replacement of 3 separate 72” and 96” CMP culverts also to be performed under traffic control.
