Milton-Freewater Bridge and Levee Repairs

The Milton-Freewater Water Control District – Bridge and Levee Repairs was a Public Works project that involved the construction of concrete floodwalls and concrete headwalls beneath the existing 15th Avenue Bridge in Milton-Freewater, OR.  Other activities included reconstruction of portions of the existing levees, excavation and placement of embankment material for additional levee height, construction of a precast gravity block wall, installation of nearly 500 feet of CMP culvert and placement of ripriap along the Walla Walla River for scour protection.  Apollo, Inc. self-performed all excavation, structural concrete and underground drainage on the project.
