This $5 million valued Design Build expansion project is owned and
operated by Western States Equipment Company, and is located in Pasco, Washington.

Scope of Work Included:

• 32,361 square foot addition to the existing building with

  • value engineering,

  • preconstruction estimating

  • and constructability review.

The existing 3,012 office area was demolished, and existing equipment shop and parts warehouse were improved. Site work includes

• a completely new sanitary sewer system,

• water lines and fire water loop

• 220,000 SF of asphalt.
  
  All construction of the truck shop, heavy duty equipment shop, parts warehouse and two story office was done while CAT continued to be open for business. Apollo worked around the office as much as possible before moving the employees out to portable office space when time came to demo the existing office. In the beginning, Apollo worked on the north half while CAT operated out of the south half. When Apollo was finished, they moved to the south half and continued construction. This environment, along with the agreed upon completion date has kept Apollo on an accelerated process to get Western States CAT operating in their new facility as soon as possible.
